Third and final dimensional illustration project. This one went faster than the other two, but I do not think well in 3d. Making the structure for the mask was very difficult for me. ^^;

Project was 'my personal mask.' ^^

btw-- There is no good devart category for dimensional paper illustration. And none whatsoever for paper masks.
That I could find. :P

Heh. I should check my deviantart more often. xD I'm glad you like this piece. it was a lot of fun to do. In a late response to your question, I really have no idea how much one would cost. It would depend on the complexity, I suppose. =P

I was just curious to how much materials cost and if you ever did commissions, a Timber wolfeh coloured one :P This is just curiosity for future reference though, I am dirt poor right now.

Ahh- I really wish I could make a flashy mask like yours! I want to make one for Halloween so I can be like an anbu ninja (-Imma dork) but I don't really feel like making a clay mask : / ...

This is perhaps the most amazing wolf mask I've ever seen. It has so much personality! And it's paper... wow. Just, wow.
My high school's formal in May is a masquerade... now I'm inspired.

Bouncing off of that (and Kuckunniwi's comments), roughly how much do you think you would charge for a mask of that complexity, if you're willing to take a custom order? I'm looking to see if I can get a quality Amaterasu mask for relatively cheap (under $100, at the least...). One made out of paper like this wouldn't need quite so much detail, I'd imagine.
